Habitat

The Eastern Diamondback is a snake that inhabits several types of habitat within it’s range. Below is an example of a Pine forest with ferns and wild blackberry. The Eastern Diamondback uses this habitat for hunting prey. Fox squirrels, Grey squirrels, rabbits, quail and other prey all inhabit these areas for foraging also. This makes it a excellent area to locate and photograph these snakes in the wild.
