Canebrake Rattlesnake Crotalus h. atricaudatus - locality- Lake Butler, Florida

The Timber Rattlesnake Crotalus horridus horridus - is also a favorite of many venomous keepers. This is a adult male from York County South Carolina.

This Dusky Pigmy Rattlesnake Sistrurus miliarius barbouri - is unusual due to the lack of dorsal saddles. It basically is a patternless snake except for the dorsal stripe the species is known for. The source of the photograph is unknown, but is rumored to have come from the cave region of Florida. Photograph by unknown cave divers.
