Welcome to EasternDiamondbacks.Com, your source for fine specimens of the LARGEST Rattlesnake in the WORLD!

Thanks for visiting my site. Take a look around and see why I take such pride in the propagation of these animals. Truely the “king” of rattlesnakes.

I started this web site to promote the awareness of preserving this magnificent rattlesnake for future generations to come. I strongly believe that for a display, exhibit, or an educational program, a captive born animal will far superceed a wild collected specimen. Captive born Eastern Diamondbacks feed readily with voracious appetites, and grow quickly into large impressive snakes. They are introduced to life with spectators as neonates and quickly learn to ignore passing humans. I offer a limited number of locality specific animals each year. I am working with four bloodlines of normal geneology to choose from.

Currently the web site is being viewed in over 24 Countries around the world. It makes me happy to know that others all around our world have the same interest, keeping or breeding Eastern Diamondbacks in captivity for future generations to enjoy and learn from. Thanks for visiting.

EasternDiamondbacks.com is a website dedicated to the propagation and education of the largest venomous snake in the United States. Here in you will find information on captive husbandry, pictures of the species, status of the species in the wild, and more.

The Eastern diamondback is the largest rattlesnake in the world. Although outlandish stories exaggerating the size of this snake are often told, here are the facts: adults are 4-5 feet in length. Large snakes can reach lengths up to 8 feet, but more typical maxing out at 6 feet. Newborn snakes are 12-15 inches long. An average adult diamondback weighs 4-5 pounds. A real giant may tip the scales at 10 pounds and can weigh up to 15lbs! I currently own a adult female weighing 11 pounds.
